- STYLISTS -

  • Amanda- Stylist

As a high school student, I first started working at Victoria's Salon in 2006. I was happy to be in the salon environment because it inspired me to enter the beauty industry. I have always had a passion for working with hair, so I started my education at the Dublin Beauty College. After receiving my cosmetology license, I started the apprenticeship program working side by side with Victoria. After completing the program it prepared me to be the stylist I have always hoped to be.

I believe my outgoing personality comes through the hairstyles I create. I enjoy cutting and coloring hair and allowing my clients to create a new look for themselves. I also specialize in up-do's and make-up for special occasions.

I am always striving to be the best stylist I can be and I will do whatever I can to make sure my client is happy with their experience while in the salon.

  • Nikki- Stylist

I have been involved in almost every aspect of the beauty industry. Going from renting a chair, to owning my own salon I can say I am happiest at Victoria's. I love being able to help my client look and feel their best.

I am outgoing and a bit funky. I like sharing these aspects of my personality with my clients while keeping their needs in focus. I love the challenges of fashion forward styles and I have a strong skill set when it comes to coloring. I love what I do and it never feels like work even after 19 years.

  • Catalina- Stylist

Creating new styles has always been my passion. Starting as an assistant at Victoria's Salon made me realize my childhood dream to do hair professionally. After graduating from the Paul Mitchell school, I worked closely with an educator teaching other professionals color and technique. After a year, I realized I missed Victoria's Salon and had to return.

I am always excited about new techniques and trends, and attend advanced education at every chance I get. I have created a reputation for myself with elaborate styling and perfectionism. Designing new looks and lengths with extensions is one of my favorite ways for a complete transformation. My cutting and coloring style is diverse and will I create anything from fun and funky to sleek and sophisticated. My creativity and calm demeanor pave the way from the simplest to most elaborate styles. I am bilingual English/Spanish and enjoy chatting at every opportunity.

  • Rachel- Stylist

For as long as I can remember, I've always had a passion for working with hair and makeup, so when it came time to choose a career I knew that the beauty industry was where I wanted to be. However, as a firm believer in all aspects of education, I first went to San Diego State University to earn my bachelors degree in communication. After graduating, I immediately returned to school and received my cosmotology license and began my career at Victoria's Salon. I completed the apprenticeship program with Victoria before I became a stylist.

My friendly personality and ability to listen to my clients needs make me a great stylist. I take pride in the fact that my clients always feel comfortable in my chair knowing they can count on me to give them an honest and professional opinion when it comes to their hair. Hair color is one of my passions as well as makeup and special occasions. Making my clients look and feel great is a top priority for me as a stylist.

  • Desiree- Stylist

I graduated from Dublin Beauty College in 1999 and trained for a year in a Danville salon before I found my home and a family at Victoria's Salon in 2000.

I have a great passion for what I do. My fun and spontaneous personality always keeps me looking for a challenge. Seeing the transformation when I create a cut or color for a client is one of my favorite aspects of my career.

I specialize in up-dos for weddings and other special occasions. I also enjoy doing make-up. I always feel so honored to be able to experience and participate in someone's special day.

  • Raschell- Stylist

My first experience in the beauty industry was in my teens when I began a modeling career. This started my inspiration to be a hairstylist. I realized over the course of my modeling career that the hairstylists and make-up artists were the true artists of who made the models fashionable and beautiful. My realization inspired me to become the artist behind the scenes. I find such reward in making others feel and look beautiful.

I started my career at Victoria's Salon in 2004 and I am so pleased to have established a strong clientele. I attended Dublin Beauty College and continued my education by participating in Victoria's apprenticeship program.

I am outgoing and personable, and have a passion for working with people. I have great attention to detail and I am happy to be attentive to my clients' needs. It is my goal to help my clients find a hairstyle that is a true fit for their hair type, and also a style they can replicate at home. I enjoy creating short hairstyles, natural looking highlights, and color for my clients. But most important to me, is seeing each client of mine looking and feeling their best when they leave my chair.

  • Lindsy - Stylist

I have been working at Victoria's Salon since 2000. I started as an assistant but I quickly developed my own passion for the industry. After I graduated from The Paul Mitchell Academy, I worked side by side with Victoria in the salon's apprenticeship program. This opportunity allowed me to utilize my own cutting and coloring abilities.

My outgoing and fun personality can be seen in the hairstyles I create. I enjoy creating hairstyles across the spectrum, anywhere from sleek and sophisticated, to strong, bold and fun. With my years of experience I have developed a great skill for round brushing.

I am always having fun while at work but I am also continuously working to improve my skills.

  • Vanessa- Stylist

As a little girl I realized I had a passion for hair. I received my education and cosmetology license at Paris Beauty College. In 2002, I started my career as a stylist at Victoria's Salon after completing the apprenticeship program with Victoria.

I take pride in staying up to date with all the latest fashions, hairstyles and trends. Even though I stay current with all the latest styles, I really like adding my own creativity and ideas to color and hairstyling to give my clients a unique look for everyday life. I enjoy working with all types of hair and I love exploring creative coloring.

  • Monica- Stylist

At a young age I discovered my passion to work with hair. My high school allowed me to follow my dream as well as get my education at the same time. Three years later, I took advantage of the opportunity to join the team at Victoria's Salon. After my one-year apprenticeship with Victoria, I became a stylist at the salon.

As a result of my years of training, practice and education, I know that on-going education is extremely important to allow me to best meet my clients' needs. I have a fun-loving personality and being bilingual allows me to get to know both my English and Spanish speaking clients. I love getting to know my clients and they also appreciate my honesty.

  • Victoria- Owner/Stylist

As a second generation hairstylist who has been in the industry for 25 years, I realized my passion for hair at a young age. My mother's career as a hairstylist was my first inspiration for becoming a stylist. Another inspiration was my father's career as a school teacher, which started my passion for mentoring other hairstylists. Teaching my staff the fundamentals of doing hair has been the perfect way for me to integrate both my parent's careers into my own.

I take pride in the fact that my staff are seasonal stylists who have not only learned by assisting closely with me, but who also continue to grow and learn by attending countless classes to educate themselves about the industry. Shu Umeura, Kerastase, and Goldwell are just a few of the many product lines that my staff and I are both practiced and specialized in.

I am grateful for my career and all wonderful things that have come my way because of it. Most importantly, I still wake up each day excited to go to work knowing that my passion for doing hair is still very much alive!

    - ESTHETICIAN -

  • Jessica- Esthetician

I received my training at Miss Marty's in San Francisco and I have been an esthetician at Victoria's Salon since 2005.

One of the main reasons I became an esthetician was my personal skin issues I experienced. After overcoming my own battle I realized I had a great passion for skin care and make-up. I take great pride in educating, interacting and customizing my clients needs. Working with my clients' skin has also allowed me to enter the realm of make-up. I enjoy teaching clients how to customize their looks with my one-on-one makeup lessons. The most rewarding part of my job is making people feel good and seeing them leave the salon with a smile.

    - NAIL TECHNICIAN -

  • Thanh Huynh - Nail Technician

I have been working as a nail technician at Victoria's Salon since 2002. After graduating from Alameda Beauty College in 1992, I worked in San Francisco for nine years. I have expertise in acrylic nails, natural nails, pedicures, and I introduced Victoria's Salon to the new breakthrough technology of SHELLAC nail care. SHELLAC is a fourteen-day nutrient polish that wears like gel but looks like a polish. It leaves the nails looking great and chip free!

Now a days manicures and pedicures are not just for women, men are welcome as well. I love my job and the opportunity it gives me to form good relationships with my clients. Also, it is very rewarding to help my clients feel good, attractive, and relaxed.
